The Southern Michigan Weimaraner Club offers two hunting tests per year.  In 2008 the Spring hunt test will be held on March 22 & 23rd, 2008.  The Chairperson for this test will be Matt Rice and the secretary for this event will be Camille Rice.  SMWC offers two opportunities to gain passes as the tests are offered both Saturday and Sunday.  The tests start with Master Hunter first, followed by Senior Hunter and then Junior Hunter.  The club also provides a lunch for a donation and camping is available at the Silo Course, Highland Field Trial grounds, Highland, Michigan.

The Fall hunting test will be held August 16 & 17th, 2008 at the Silo Course, Highland Field Trial Grounds, Highland, Michigan.  Chair of the Fall Hunt test is Mike Hall and Secretary of this event will be Marie Teschler.  The fall hunting test offers the same opportunity for two chances to pass your dogs event.  Lunch will be offered on site for a donation and camping is available at the Silo Course, Highland Field trial Grounds, Highland, Michigan.
