Weimaraner Club of America offers ratings tests for Weimaraners for their field ability and their retrieving abilities.  Southern Michigan Weimaraner Club offers these ratings tests at least once a year.  Due to popular request a second retrieving ratings was held September 16, 2007.

SMWC held their shooting dog ratings and retrieving dog ratings, July 28 & 29th, 2007.  The retrieve ratings were held in conjunction with the German Shorthair Pointer Club of Michigan on the 29th.  SMWC then offered a second ratings test on September 16th, 2007 which was a retrieving ratings test only.  The next WCA, SMWC ratings test is not planned until late July 2008.  A premium will be listed at a later date.
